TigerShaw began operation in August of 2007 with the goal of offering a unique transportation option to the City of Auburn.

Pedicabs, or bicycle rickshaws, are three-wheeled, environmentally friendly vehicles which transport people in a fun way.  Our TigerShaws are entirely human-powered and are designed for leisurely, relatively short-distanced trips.  As we like to say, we may not get you to your destination "quickly" but we will get you there in "style"!

Our TigerShaws can carry 400 pounds maximum which equates to two or three adults dependent on size.  Our drivers are uniformed, trained professionals who can offer great information about local restaurants, sites and campus details.

REGULAR SERVICE 
Our ultimate goal is to service the Auburn University campus and the down-town corridor as follows:
Lunch Service:  MON - FRI - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Evening Service: THU - SAT - 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Football Game-Day Service: 4 hours Pre-kickoff to 4 hours Post-kickoff (dependent on kickoff time)

SERVICE AREA
Our general service area is as follows:
South Boundary: Woodfield Drive
North Boundary: Drake Avenue
East Boundary: Ross Street
West Boundary: Lem Morrison Drive

FARE RATES
During our regular service hours, our rate is simply "tip-fare".  Pay the driver what you think the ride was worth!  We do hope you will tip our drivers as they work very hard for the money they earn!

Outside of our regular service hours, contact us and we will quote a rate dependent on time-of-day, length of trip, etc.

SPECIAL SERVICES
Reserved Fares: You may contact us to reserve a TigerShaw for any type of trip.  We have reserved fares for transporting AU professors between buildings on campus, for birthday rides (what better gift to offer!), for special rides with children and for transporting guests from the campus to our down-town restaurants - these are just a few examples!  If possible, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a fare.  Dependent on the time of day, we will quote a transport rate or our usual rate of "tip-fare" will apply.

Special Events: Our TigerShaws provide a wonderful transport method for special events.  We can shuttle attendees from parking lots to the event location, offer TigerShaw rides at an event, etc.  Contact us and we will provide a quotation for your event!

Weddings: What better way to depart with your new spouse than in a TigerShaw!  We offer Bride & Groom transport or guest transport from parking area to the event.
